In 1876, as a tribute to some of their most prestigious clients, Maison Mumm decorated a few of their bottles with a crossed red silk ribbon (a reference to the Legion of Honor) and sealed them with an oval label. Crafting is a long and complex process of which every step is fundamental to the Cuvée’s quality and perfection. In order for each terroir to express its individuality, the grape varieties of the 77 Crus that are used to make Mumm Grand Cordon are pressed and vinified separately. Its abundant, delicate bubbles testify to this champagne’s elegance and vigor.
The Brut NV represents the epitome of the Piper-Heidsieck style: a classic, well-structured, and fruit forward champagne. Piper-Heidsieck carefully selects fruit from more than 100 of Champagne’s crus to blend the Brut NV. This adds great complexity and dimension to the wine and allows the bold Piper-Heidsieck style to shine through. A majority blend of Pinot Noir provides structure to the composition while Pinot Meunier expands the wine with its brilliant fruit expression and fleshiness and Chardonnay bring elegant tones and acidity. The precious reserve wines create a consistent flavor profile year after year.
Champagne Drappier is a family Champagne House known for its expressive and elegant style. Since 1808, eight generations of celebrated Drappier growers, whose pursuit of the authentic and devotion to the land have captured the heart of fine Champagne lovers worldwide. Sustainably and organically farmed on a limestone terroir of the Champagne region in France, the vines produce fine grapes that balance bold fruit flavours with distinct notes of minerality. Their winemaking processes use natural and local resources, using the lowest levels of sulfite in Champagne, and pioneer in making non-added sugar Champagnes. Chefs and Sommeliers around the world have chosen Drappier to put on their Michelin-starred tables, including Jean-Georges and Daniel in New York, La Tour d’Argent in Paris or the Business Class of Air France.
For three centuries, champagne has been synonym of fine tables, subtlety and inspired savoir-vivre… Brimoncourt is our tribute to these for-ever champagne values: elegance, independence, sharing and lightness. At Brimoncourt, we are proud of developing a lively and creative brand with strong personalities who share a common vision and passion for this wonderful wine that is champagne. More than just a great wine, Brimoncourt is a way of being, inspired by free spirits: it is a chivalrous desire, a sophisticated response to convenience and boredom. Our wines are born in Aÿ, at the historical heart of the Champagne vineyard, in nearly bicentenary buildings and gardens. This anchorage in Aÿ is also a promise and compels us to bring a special care to the selection of vines and grapes when creating the Brimoncourt wines.
The production secrets and the vinification method of this cuvée go back to the origins of the House of BILLECART-SALMON and have been handed down for seven generations. The Brut Rosé is a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir vinified as red wine. This cuvée unveils a subtle aroma leading to an elegant, delicate bouquet of fine notes of red fruits and zest of citrus fruits.
