Taste France’s most prestigious champagnes at tasting tables presented by G.H. Mumm, Piper-Heidsieck, Drappier, Brimoncourt, Billecart-Salmon, and La Caravelle. Indulge in fine European chocolates from Neuhaus, La Maison du Chocolat, Valrhona, and MarieBelle, and hors d’oeuvres from Maman Bakery.

*12:30pm Tasting — Your ticket will include a reserved seat inside FIAF Florence Gould Hall theater for the 3pm live screening of the UEFA Euro Final. Head to the theater after the tasting.

Champagnes

G.H. Mumm — Cuvée Grand Cordon

In 1876, as a tribute to some of their most prestigious clients, Maison Mumm decorated a few of their bottles with a crossed red silk ribbon (a reference to the Legion of Honor) and sealed them with an oval label. Crafting is a long and complex process of which every step is fundamental to the Cuvée’s quality and perfection. In order for each terroir to express its individuality, the grape varieties of the 77 Crus that are used to make Mumm Grand Cordon are pressed and vinified separately. Its abundant, delicate bubbles testify to this champagne’s elegance and vigor.

 

Piper Heidsieck

The Brut NV represents the epitome of the Piper-Heidsieck style: a classic, well-structured, and fruit forward champagne. Piper-Heidsieck carefully selects fruit from more than 100 of Champagne’s crus to blend the Brut NV. This adds great complexity and dimension to the wine and allows the bold Piper-Heidsieck style to shine through. A majority blend of Pinot Noir provides structure to the composition while Pinot Meunier expands the wine with its brilliant fruit expression and fleshiness and Chardonnay bring elegant tones and acidity. The precious reserve wines create a consistent flavor profile year after year.

 

Drappier

Billecart-Salmon — Brut Rosé, a romantic champagne

The production secrets and the vinification method of this cuvée go back to the origins of the House of BILLECART-SALMON and have been handed down for seven generations. The Brut Rosé is a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir vinified as red wine. This cuvée unveils a subtle aroma leading to an elegant, delicate bouquet of fine notes of red fruits and zest of citrus fruits.
